My experience with On Command has been nothing but amazing. You can tell how in tune with their clients they are by how things are ran. I have a few main points that are the reasons they deserve 5 stars and even more. 1) Payment. On Command offers interest free payment plans that are customized to your needs. As a young Adult working full time I was unable to pay the amount owed upfront so the owner Ross came up with a plan that accommodated both of us making this a very easy financial decision to make. 2) Facility. Upon my arrival to drop my dog off for the two week board and train, I sprung the question of wanting a tour. During the tour I was thoroughly impressed with the rooms the dogs played/trained in. The building also smelled nice considering it housed dogs. They even showed me their bath area and kennel area which some places do not show. The bath area and kennel areas were very neat and clean. After the tour I had no concerns what so ever leaving my dog there for two weeks. 3) Training I sent my 1 year old standard poodle in for a two week board and train. I wanted them to work more on off leash obedience and her reactivity towards people. Her trainer Taylor sent me updates almost every night with photos and sometimes even videos. When I got her back she showed a significant improvement. She used to bark at people while on walks and would not approach anyone let alone let them pet her. She would just shrink away. Now she enthusiastically goes up to people with permission and has stopped barking while out on walks! She is doing fantastic off leash. I love how their training is not linear and they cater to your dog’s individual needs. You can tell that a lot of work has been put into their business and that their workers love what they do. Honestly if I didn’t live farther away I would take my dog to their daycare as well. On command has exceeded my expectations and I have every intention of recommending them to everyone needing training, boarding, daycare etc.

I cannot recommend On Command Canine Training enough! My golden doodle, Flash, was a handful before starting training, but Ross completely transformed his behavior. Not only did Ross teach Flash obedience commands, but he also helped me understand how to effectively train him. In reality, I probably needed the training more than Flash did. Our home life has become exponentially better since he completed his 4 private training sessions. The entire experience was fantastic. Ross was patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer my questions. Plus, the price was very reasonable for the quality of training we received. I will even be bringing Flash back to attend their doggy daycare. If you're looking for a professional and affordable dog trainer, On Command Canine Training is the way to go!

On command has been absolutely amazing! I contacted Ross after the puppy we rescued started to show some aggressive tendencies with my 11yr old son. Ross had one of his trainers (Jasmine) come out and work with my son and I and we saw instant results after the first session. Our dog was simply being a bully towards my son, wanting to be in control of his actions. Jasmine taught my son how to take charge and control the interactions between him and the dog. They are now best freinds and my son knows how to handle situations that come up in the future. Jasmine also gave great advice and even product suggestions to pursue other activities with our pup. We currently go on bike rides multiple times per week with the dog using a bike leash attachment that helps keep the dog and rider safe. (Side note - if you have a working breed or high energy dog... you should look into bike leashes! Just make sure your bike brakes are good so you can slow them down. Lol ) Since those initial training sessions we have moved on with additional training, e-collar training, and are joining the next group class that starts. I highly endorse on commands training and feel their in home 1 on 1 training is well worth the money if you choose that option.

After trying out 3 different doggy day cares in the area, we’ve finally found a spot we wholeheartedly trust! The staff at On-Command have been amazing with our dog from literally the day they opened. They communicate updates on how she’s doing, highlighting the dogs she did/didn’t get along with and send pictures throughout the day. I really love their attention to detail. I’ve been there on multiple occasions where there were disagreements between dogs. They take action immediately, have areas to separate and calm everyone down and work at reintroduction. They really treat our pup like she’s their own.

We highly recommend using On-Command for your puppy training needs. We worked with Royce with 4 in-home training sessions to train our 12-week old puppy for a variety of different training topics (i.e. crate training, leash walking, basic commands, etc.) Royce's advice for crate training was imperative in our progress with our pup and we saw improvements pretty much after the first training session. She is now fully capable of being in the crate with little to no issues. Royce was patient, fun, instructional, and overall very helpful in his training approach. Ross was very communicative from the beginning as we scheduled our training program with him first. Both Royce and Ross were flexible, understanding, and receptive throughout the entire training process for us. Highly recommend!

My sweet rescue dogs Diego started showing issues when people spooked him with loud sudden or quick movements. Ross was able to re-create a situation to get the behavior of real concern from Diego. He gracefully taught my dog not to be afraid. Diego now has confidence when he meets new people and hasn’t behaved defensively towards a person since. He’s helped Diego with great success learn his commands. As a spiritual person I would describe Ross as gifted healer. From a clinical perspective he’s a therapist for dogs. And from a human perspective he’s a patient teacher. Ross is an excellent dog trainer, he’s an advocate. He sees dogs for who they are, and not for their presenting issues. He is also patient, and personable and professional with humans!

We signed up for the Four Private Lessons for our two puppies. It was a great experience. Ross was so good with them. It's amazing how fast the dogs responded to them! We weren't sure what to expect, but it was great! After the first lesson, the little one managed to sneak out of the house. We were able to use the touch command and she immediately came to us. That right there was worth every penny, and then some!!! It was great to see the puppies transformation from adorable cuties to adorable cuties that listen!! 🥰 100% Recommend! You won't regret it!

Ross is a wonderful trainer who truly loves and understands dogs. He’s also great with first time puppy parents. We went to him to help us introduce our son’s 3-year-old Aussie to our daughter’s 8-week-old AussieDoodle. Ross went above and beyond for us - a great experience. He followed up the next day to see how things were going. The dogs were fine but my daughter and especially my husband were wrecks...mostly because of the size difference. Ross came to our house without charge to work with the dogs AND my husband. The rest of Christmas was wonderful and we owe it to Ross!

We sent our puppy to On Command’s two week board and train program. We have a bully breed and while we know he’s a good boy, it is important the rest of the world sees him as we do and he’s a good citizen. Rubble worked with Taylor who was great! She was very communicative and provided daily updates and photos. When I went to pick him up, he didn’t want to leave! Taylor was able to do in a few short weeks what we couldn’t accomplish in months. Now we have the foundation to build on and thankful for the support!

You couldn’t find a better dog obedience trainer. I believe that the key to successful obedience is more about training the owner than the puppy/dog. My puppy obeys him without need for very much correcting, or no correction at all. He is patient in training me. No problems. I would give him an unqualified thumbs up!! Cocoa and I enjoyed our training with Ross. So very patient with the real one who needs training, which was mainly me. Cocoa learned quickly and I was a bit slower. I highly recommend him!!

On-Command Canine Training was an amazing experience for Boo. Ross makes training fun for the dogs and it really helps them retain the skills. Boo took the 6 week training option. Ross is also very good at teaching the owner how to work with their dogs. I quickly learned that I needed more training than Boo. I would highly recommend On-Command for any of their services. Their facility is large, always clean and every dog there was having fun. An absolutely fantastic experience.

Ross is very attentive to the needs of my dog, ( Toby was introduced to several bigger dogs and Ross was able to spot the aggressive action spot on, as well as why all the barking goes on when we are outside) my concerns as an owner, have been addressed. staff very friendly, the business has a lot to offer, boarding, daycare, and in process of forming a grooming group. They also offer package deals for daycare. Will return for any issues that arise would recommend this establishment to others.

Ross was extremely helpful as we navigated a new rescue with our existing dogs. He taught us several useful training tools and took the time to make sure we felt comfortable doing them ourselves. He uses positive reinforcement that was super effective with a high energy dog. I would highly recommend Ross!

On-Command Canine Training is a great company. Ross is extremely knowledgeable and has a special gift when working with dogs. It’s a mutual respect you can see between trainer and dog. I recommend anyone who needs the slightest to most intense of dog training to call on command canine training. The prices are very good and there’s multiple packages from which to choose. They even offer boarding. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

Ross was very patient with my service dog in training and I, helping us fine tune his heel and other commands to prepare him for the public access test! In just four weeks we were able to see a dramatic increase in my dog’s confidence, and starting to see a decrease in anxiety in a public setting! Thank you On Command!!!

I don’t trust anyone else with my pets more than On-Command Canine Training. They’re always cheerful, happy to help, and my pets love it. They’ve always shared insightful knowledge with me in regards to proper pet care. Highly recommended!

Ross was always so positive with his training approach that we looked forward to our training sessions! He understands dog behavior and what it takes to train each dog individually! We will certainly be going back in the future for refreshers.
